Sure, sure. We know. The Ten Commandments and all. But gosh darn it. Those cars were pretty nice and wouldn't it be nice to have one of our own? Well, until that happens, we'll keep going to car shows. Here's a video clip taken at last week's Mt. Olivet car show. Barbara Zadeh and Mary Meuwissen described their plans for the Creamery project in downtown Victoria. The existing Creamery will be razed and replaced with a multi-use retail and office building; the second building overlooking Stieger Lake will be a 7-unit luxury condominiums project.

Accomplished sculptor and artist Deb Zeller of Deer Run designed and produced this year's first time ever Volksfest Medallion for the Medallion Hunt that will take place in the weeks leading up to this year's Volksfest celebration. The Medallion Hunt is sponsored by Kevin Rahn of Edward Jones and the first two mailings with clues are sponsored by Counselor Realty of Victoria.
Victoria's School of the Wise coffee cafe is growing, to the East. In the fall, Ann Clifford will open School of the Wise East in Chanhassen's Market Street Station. The cafe, formerly known as C.J.'s will have coffee, food, live music on weekends, and a wine bar in the former Maggie Moo's ice cream parlor.
