Chaska Police officers have begun to remove peddlers from the Hazeltine National Golf Club area.
When the PGA Championship week began, nearby venders were more in the
vein of kids and Kool-Aid stands, “and we just let them ride,” said
Chaska Police Chief Scott Knight.
However by Friday, the venders had gotten out of hand. “It’s almost like the state fair,” Knight said.
The Goodyear blimp hovering over Hazeltine National Golf Club
is becoming a familiar sight to spectators this week during the PGA
Championship.

Gannon will again put his time, knowledge and enthusiasm toward the Holy Family youth football camp.
The camp runs from June 16-18 at the Victoria high school, for athletes entering grades 3-8.
The three-day camp features timings, competitions and awards. Pro and college athletes are regular visitors to the camp, as then-new Vikings head coach Brad Childress stopped by in 2006, and Vikings E.J. Henderson visited last year.
