District 112 Superintendent David Jennings has submitted his resignation, effective June 30, 2009.

He stated in a letter of resignation, included in this Thursday’s school board packet: “My decision is reflective of my belief that the district’s interest would be well-served, at this point, by the search for and selection of a new leader for the 2009-10 school year, who can spend the next few years consolidating and institutionalizing the many changes we have begun to make.”

Holy Family Catholic High School has big plans ahead. Earlier this year, the school built the Convocation Circle in front of the school. It will be complete when a lifesize bronze sculpture, depicting two students and St. John the Baptist de la Salle, is installed next spring.

There is a storm coming soon to the Lake Conference.

Chanhassen High School was acccepted by the Lake Conference Executive
committee on Tuesday.
