Holy Family sent its two state-rated teams to the Section 4A cross country meet at Battle Creek Park in St. Paul.
The Fire came back with both of the top trophies.
The Holy Family girls' team dominated the meet, finishing with 51 points, led by race champion Lauren Rice. Runner-up team St. Paul Academy amassed 118 points to qualify.
The Holy Family boys' team won a tight competition, taking the top spot with 77 points to outdistance runner-up Minnehaha Academy by nine points. Paul Weigel led the Fire with a fifth-place finish.
The Fire will run in the state Class A meet on Saturday, Nov. 4 at St. Olaf College in Northfield.
