The Victoria Chamber of Commerce is looking forward to the 2007 annual Volksfest celebration in downtown Victoria.

Volksfest is encouraging members of the community--including churches, organizations, clubs, and neighborhood group--to volunteer a couple hours of time to assist in making Volksfest a relaxing, fun, and entertaining day for everyone.

We are looking for volunteers to take two-hour shifts from noon to 9 p.m. Volunteers will assist in the Information booth, the bed race, kiddie parade, Fun Run, Food/Booths, car show, and more.

There'll be a volunteers meeting in early August.

 This is a great opportunity for your church, your club or neighborhood group to meet the community, help the Chamber and make Volkfest a true people festival!
