Victoria businesses in the downtown district are hosting "Discover Victoria," on Thursday, Aug. 23, from 4 to 8 p.m.

Victoria residents are invited to visit all the participating businesses in downtown where they may pick up a gift bag and a "passport." Shopper get their passports stamped at each of the participating businesses, and can enter a grand prize drawing with an estimated value of $1,000.

Each participating buisness will offer a variety of services, samples, and special treats.
