News from the Three Rivers Park District and Gale Woods Farm. 

Celebrate spring and new life on the farm! Meet farm animals and their babies from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Saturday, March 22 at Gale Woods Farm in Minnetrista. 

Try your hand at making a wool craft and play farm games. Participate in an egg hunt and take home a farm prize! The cost is $5, and this program is for all ages. Farm-raised concessions are available for an additional fee.

Located on picturesque Whaletail Lake in Minnetrista, Gale Woods is a 410-acre park that features a working educational farm. The farm provides opportunities for visitors of all ages to enjoy experiences that enhance their understanding of agriculture, food production and land stewardship.

Gale Woods Farm is located approximately 25 miles west of Minneapolis, at 7219 County Road 110 West, Minnetrista. 

From I-494, go west on I-394/Highway 12 for four miles.  Exit on County 15 West in Wayzata and travel eight miles.  Turn left in Mound on County Road 110, then travel three miles and look for Gale Woods Farm park signs.
