I am always a day late and a dollar short. I owe this to being born at 10 a.m. While my mother was huffing and puffing and trying to pop me out, I imagine I was yawning, rolling over and saying, yeah, yeah, yeah, give me another 10 minutes and then I'll come out.

So it's just like me to finally come up with my New Year's resolutions and revolutions. I'm not telling you all of them. That's for me to know and you to find out.

But one thing, I do promise to blog on a more regular basis. Not that I have anything more interesting to say than usual, but gol darn it, I started this Blog and called it Embedded in the Suburbs, and why let it go to waste.

In the past I have complained bitterly (to myself) that no one blogs with me. Well, I no longer care if people play with me online or not. I will just inflate my writer's ego and assume that everyone is breathlessly awaiting my next thought bubble, yet don't have the time or the inclination to post me an email note via the blog. That's OK. I'm not judging. Feedback would be nice, but not necessary.
