Get ready for 2009 PGA Championship at Hazeltine

Though golfers won’t tee up for the PGA Championship at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska until 2009, preparations are under way. Details about volunteer opportunities will soon be announced for the tour event, set for Aug. 10-16, 2009.
Spectator ticket and corporate hospitality packages are available at the official tournament site here.
Hazeltine last hosted the PGA Championship in 2002, when Rich Beem held off Tiger Woods to win the Wanamaker Trophy.

I remember the 2002...
Back to page topI remember the 2002 tournament only because I was returning from a camping trip in Owatonna for the Steele County Fair. I remember driving on the highway and seeing a floating Blimp, it was pretty cool. Anyway, I also went home sat on the couch and checked out the action. I will be sure to be a little more in tune with it in 2009. Thanks for the info.
