People would like to feel safe in their homes and to have theives arrested. Not all of the homes robbed last spring/summer had the doors open. In fact just a month or so prior the publicized robbery spree last summer a house right around the corner from the others had the screen slashed and the sliding glass door broken during the robbery. Word on the street, literally, is that not much follow-up has been done from last year.

Not sure what you are talking about, none of the recent burglaries occurred in Victoria. Remember last summer all of the houses had open doors. Not sure what the sheriff could have done about that.

More burglaries for Victoria. This happend last summer too! Maybe the Sheriff's office will do something about the robberies this year. They appeared to do very little last summer.

I am a supporter of the ignition interlock bill. I simply asked a couple of questions in committee to try to clarify what the intent of some of the language in the bill was. Candidly, the section I raised questions about was poorly drafted and the Department of Public Safety, which is promoting the legislation, agreed that some changes were needed. When the bill came back to the committee, the Department came forward with a proposed amendment and the amendment passed without any objection. The bill then passed out of committee with not only my support but the support of nearly all of the members of the committee. Rep. Paul Kohls

Rep. Paul Kohls pass this bill. The mother and unborn child who were killed on HWY 5 in Victoria couple of years ago were killed by a first time DWI offender. The more we can protect people from drunk drivers the better, if the family of the drunk driver is effected too bad, it might stop their enabeling.

I was fascinated by your ghost story and now I want more. Anyways, I do believe that they do exist and every where we go they are there. I also experience paranormal things most often like hearing voices, seeing silhouttes of a white figure, and having goose bumps all the time, but have accepted it and just learned to live with it.
Maybe sometime I could join your team of ghost hunting for experience and adventure. Love the post and thanks for the lovely share. mesa locksmith

St. Paul (June 16, 2009) —

St. Paul (June 16, 2009) — The Minnesota DFL Party released the following statement from Associate Chair Donna Cassutt:

“This spring, the Legislature put forward a responsible, balanced budget that cut government spending and sought to raise permanent revenue to solve Minnesota’s financial crisis and revive our struggling economy. Legislators visited with Minnesotans all over the state to hear concerns and gather their input of how to best address this crisis and put Minnesotans back to work. But instead of working with the Legislature, the Governor — with the full support of Republican legislators — ignored their balanced budget and failed to negotiate honestly.

In short, Governor Pawlenty and the Republicans failed Minnesota — and today, Minnesota’s working families are paying the price of their failure. In slavish adherence to the same failed philosophy that drove America into recession — not to mention his own ambition — Pawlenty and the Republicans have embarked on the arrogant, reckless, and potentially illegal path of unallotment that will hurt hundreds of thousands of Minnesotans — and drive Minnesota’s economy even further into a hole.

In the middle of the deepest recession in three decades, it is unconscionable that Governor Pawlenty and the Republicans would cut Minnesotans’ police and fire protection, damage our hospitals, kick Minnesotans off healthcare, and further dim our children’s future rather than do their jobs and negotiate in good faith with the legislative majority.

The governor admits his cuts and deferrals were ‘targeted’—sadly, those targeted clearly include our most vulnerable: those living in poverty, the disabled, children, and seniors. And Pawlenty knows it.

The Republican actions today — which will lead to higher property taxes, fewer hospitals and worse healthcare — will push Minnesota’s families off the economic cliff.

While President Obama is boldly leading America to a safer, more prosperous future, Tim Pawlenty and the Republicans are making a last, desperate stand in Minnesota for the failed philosophy that America has rejected. But make no mistake — today is indeed their last stand.”

Oh bother.
But answer your question Karla, the word was N A Z I...which the bad word filter filtered. And if this version is also filtered, even with the spaces in between the letters (take that word program) think of the game "Yahtzee" only beginning with an N.
