For most residents of Carver County, a $900,000 budget adjustment made by the County Board Tuesday means the proposed property taxes mailed to them last month are valid once again.
Carver County commissioners, by a 3-2 vote, decided Tuesday not to move ahead with a proposed social host ordinance that would have targeted hosts that knowingly allowing underage drinking. (Complete story in Thursday's print edition).
Carver County commissioners are scheduled to continue discussions of the 2008 budget on Tuesday.
