Welcome Victoria, to my Blog.

Thanks for logging on and checking out the new Victoria Town Square Website. It's still a work in progress, but with your help, it can be a place where community members can check in, talk about local issues, give the rest of us a heads up on what's happening in the city, in the schools, at the churches, and in downtown, on the golf course, on the lakes, etc., etc.

 Of course, I'm averse to gossip either, but only after we get to know each other a little better. hee hee.

I hate to blog alone so c'mon everybody and give me a hand. As I blog, I keep thinking of the line that Lauren Bacall gives to Humphrey Bogart in the movie, "The Maltese Falcon" -- if not, write and correct me, won't you?--it's right after she leans in to give him a kiss on the lips. Basically, I assume it's like kissing a statue because Bacall sits back, gives him a look and cracks, "It's better when you help."

So OK everybody, blog with me. Even if it's to exchange recipes or something.
