Ice Fishing Lessons at Lowry Nature Center

Have you always wanted to try ice fishing but don’t know how to start? Are you a novice looking for some pointers? Join us on Sunday, Feb. 3, from 1-3 p.m. at Lowry Nature Center in Carver Park Reserve, Victoria, for ice fishing.

Learn ice fishing techniques and ice safety. Experienced and new ice-fishers are welcome. We will meet at Lowry Nature Center and drive to Lake Auburn in the park, noted for exceptional bass and panfishing. Warm up by a bonfire on the ice. Bring ice fishing equipment or borrow ours. Fishing licenses are required for adults.

Cost is $5. Dress for the cold.
