Creativity and Web savvy starts young in Chanhassen.
Allow me introduce you to Alex. And his imaginary friend ... although real in the virtual, Internet, sense ... "Little Bob."
Alex is 10 years old and a resident of Chanhassen. His mom, Kathleen, teaches pottery classes at the Chaska Community Center. So, I guess you could say there's some creativity running through his veins.
Like many 10-year-old boys, Alex likes animals. He has a pet rabbit, Snickers, and recently begged to get a pet dog. He likes jumping on the trampoline in his back yard. He likes playing video games. He doodles a lot.
Sounds like a pretty normal kid. What I discovered to be extraordinary about Alex is that in addition to all that, he creates animations of “Little Bob’s World” on his computer. And, with the help of his teenage cousin Joel, Alex posts his animations on the Web. Check out the works of this young local talent living in the southwest metro at www.littlebobworld.com.
What do you think of his work? Know somebody like Alex? Will you share their story?
