A rough season got rougher on Wednesday night as Shakopee lost to Farmington 27-0 at home.
The loss drops Shakopee's record to 2-6 on the season.
Shakopee has not scored a point in the last seven quarters it has played.
Farmington took a 14-0 lead into halftime and scored two more times in the third quarter to extend its lead to 27-0.
That's all the scoring in the game as Farmington clinches the Missota Conference title.

A fall transition expo for families and students ages 14 to 21 who are on an Individual Education Plan (IEP) will be hosted by the Shakopee Special Education Parent Advisory Council from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30 in the Shakopee High School Commons.
The Shakopee Lions Club will sponsor its fall steak fry from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24 at the Shakopee Knights of Columbus Hall, 1760 Fourth Ave. E. in Shakopee. CHANHASSEN — The state of the economy took center stage at the first forum between U.S. 2nd Congressional District candidates John Kline and challenger Steve Sarvi.
Kline, a Republican incumbent from Lakeville, and Sarvi, the DFL challenger from Watertown, took part in a forum Monday hosted by area chambers of commerce at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum.
The Prior Lake Players’ production of the classic drama “12 Angry Men” continues in the Twin Oaks Middle School auditorium, 15860 Fish Point Road, Prior Lake.
Productions are set for 7:30 p.m. Oct. 18, 24 and 25.

Vinnie the Vertebrae was one of the attractions during the 14th Annual Kids Day America/International hosted by doctors Jodi Church and Katie Kearney-Bidwell Sept. 20 at Bridge Chiropractic in Shakopee.
